Welcome to the Woolson Family Tree Online! Charles Woolson Sr. & Marion Mae Belk Wedding Photo 6/18/1945 Morton, Pennsylvania This project started with my grandfather, Charles Woolson Sr. who was so proud of our family connection to Cape May, Caleb Woolson being the Lighthouse Keeper for many years. My grandfather, a draftsman, spent quite a bit of time researching family and creating a large, hand-drawn family tree using drafting paper.

When Charles passed away in 1996, my grandmother (Nan) gave me his work and I began sifting through it, trying to use the Internet to dig a bit further and expand our tree -- hoping to make the connection back to the Mayflower that he desperately wanted to do. In that search I decided to create a living and breathing version of the Woolson Family Tree in an attempt to have other family members find me and help with this project.

Reception has been quite good and growing each year, with new family members adding to their branches, sending photos and emailing notes... Charles would be so happy that I was using my "donkey machine", as he so fondly called computers, to help track down family and find out who we are and where we came from.

Keep in mind, this is a work in progress and anyone wishing to share information, please feel free to email me with updated data and I'll make sure the tree is updated accordingly. Photos can be added as well as notes -- giving another dimension to the family tree. How about adding a story or fond memory of a family member to keep their legacy even after they're gone?

Sincerely,
Christopher A. Woolson
