The Matchmaker A classic filmed on the Aran Islands in County Galway

Janeane Garafalo plays Marcy, assistant to Senator John McGlory who searches for his Irish roots in hopes of solving his re-election problems. In doing so, Marcy is sent to Ireland to find relatives and ancestors, falling in love and making us laugh in this romatic comedy.

If you take a trip to Inishmore and take a tour with one of the locals, you'll visit the cottage where they filmed. Also filmed in Roundabout, County Galway so you can stop there for some village views where much of the Irish portion was filmed.

This is a light-hearted movie that you can watch again-and-again without getting bored.
