Rainfall & Seasons Determine the best time for you to visit Ireland

Planning your vacation to Enchanting Ireland can be daunting when it comes to rainfall & seasons for traveling because rain is a usual part of the day. The Irish will tell you that you can and will experience all four seasons -- in one day. Take into consideration the other tourists on the road, daylight hours and rain and you'll have the information to determine the right season for your Irish vacation.
Our favorite travel time was early October as there were fewer tourists and the weather seemed to hold out for those two weeks. The Gulf Stream starts to shift over toward Ireland, bringing temperate weather to the southwest, where you'll find palm trees growing in Bantry -- surprising weather for being so far north!
We now tend to travel in early June as we have a daughter in school and we've found June to be quite nice on the other end. Prices are reasonable, season flights have kicked in so we can find direct flights and there are few tourists on the road. We've really enjoyed Ireland the past few times we've traveld in June.
